The Tree House at Mutu Village was a unique and unforgettable experience. the concept of staying in the middle of nature was exactly what I was looking for in a weekend getaway. the open-air shower and bathtub were luxurious and added a special touch to the stay. the Ayurvedic massage and herbal steam room were pure bliss and provided ultimate relaxation. the young Sri Lankan family who ran the place spoke good English and provided excellent customer service, making us feel like a part of their family. the food, both breakfast and dinner, was delicious and varied, just like home-cooked meals.
the steps to the upstairs double room were not deep, which made descending a bit tricky.

The hotel's location was great, right by the national park and the rock, and very close to all the attractions in the area and the “Cultural Triangle”. It was in a quiet and peaceful area. The breakfast offered a wide array of appetising meals.

I had an amazing time at the Tree House Mutu Village in Habarana. The honeymoon room was like a dream, perched high up like a treehouse with beautiful timber decor. The owner, Adjit, and his friend Dias were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They even arranged tuk-tuks for us and brought us cold beers to enjoy on the balcony. The hospitality of the owner and his family was exceptional, and the home-cooked dinner and breakfast were delicious. The location was also perfect for exploring nearby attractions like Sigiriya and Dambulla. a fantastic experience.
Nothing could have been better!

Spacious and comfortable rooms with excellent beds and nice bathrooms. Adjacent to the main square in Habarana, with easy access to attractions. - Ajid arranges everything, from meals to transportation and tours. - Guests can bring their own food and drinks, and there is a daily meal cooked by Ajid. - Good atmosphere with friendly guests, laundry services available. - Surrounded by nature, with monkeys, squirrels, birds, and the possibility of seeing elephants.
Felt very well taken care of, nothing to complain about.

We had a lovely stay in a tree house at a guesthouse in a peaceful and green setting. The bed was covered with a good quality mosquito net, ensuring a comfortable sleep. The staff went above and beyond, even arranging for the owner's wife to clean our son's wound. Evening tea and milk were provided, and room service was excellent. The guesthouse's location made it convenient for visiting nearby attractions and the owner helped organize tours at competitive prices.
The water in the shower had some issues, causing the bathroom to smell with moisture towards the end of our stay.

We stayed at a nice, simple accommodation in a pretty setting at Tree House Mutu Village. the converted house, set within a local village, gave us a unique and authentic experience. the rooms had an 'eco' stay feel to them, and were relatively clean with good air conditioning, a fridge, and a good bathroom. the spa facilities were impressive, and the property offered Ayurvedic treatments and products. the service, although a bit scattered, was friendly, and the staff made us feel relaxed and taken care of. the restaurant served quality local food at reasonable prices, with options for both a la carte and buffet menus.
No negatives from this place. 😊.
